📋 Description

• Develop strategic and integrated marketing partnerships with our global accounts, executives, and technical users to capture impactful customer success stories for utilization by marketing, sales, and field teams.

• Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to identify, align, and promote customer marketing requirements while addressing process, efficiency, and scalability.

• Create, promote, and actively lead the planning and development of all types of customer content, including case studies, videos, slide presentations, media opportunities, speaking engagements, analyst interviews, and recruitment for participation in New Relic and industry events.

• Oversee a variety of customer marketing projects at different stages of development. Monitor and measure monthly metrics and provide regular updates to marketing and sales leadership.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, with a primary focus on our customer-facing teams.

• Tasked with expanding our customer reference roster and developing customer advocacy and narratives in the Americas region. Aids sales in securing customer references to close sales opportunities.

• Collaborate with field marketing and sales teams to develop successful campaigns centered around engaged customers.

• Contribute to an increase in product usage and adoption, working closely with developer relations, sales, product marketing, PR, and field marketing.

• Outcome-Focused: You emphasize the impact of customer stories on the bottom line, including reducing sales cycles, enhancing retention, and boosting brand equity.

• Skilled Interviewer: You possess the technical knowledge to discuss complex observability challenges and the emotional intelligence to extract the human aspect of a story.

• Strategic Operator: You enjoy constructing the "machine" as much as the content. You excel at creating repeatable processes that enable advocacy to scale across a global organization.

• Customer Champion: You have a deep understanding of the customer's journey and a dedication to making them the hero of every story.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a professional IT services company or SaaS software provider in customer-facing roles in Marketing, Sales, or Customer Success.

• Experience conducting interviews with B2B technology buyers and users; capable of clearly conveying technical content and product use cases to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven ability to engage with senior executives and C-Level customers.

• Background in content marketing, customer marketing programs, product or technical marketing, developer relations, and/or communications in a fast-paced, highly technical setting.

• Exceptional storytelling skills including preparing advance briefing materials, interviewing, and editing. Successful management of large, complex, global customer engagements to completion and customer satisfaction.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.

• Experience in meeting facilitation and effective presentation delivery.

• Commitment to customer satisfaction and attention to detail.

• Intermediate Excel/spreadsheet skills, including the ability to analyze data for creating compelling content.

• Native-level English proficiency is required.
