• **Why this role exists** Customer marketing is already significant at n8n, but it currently lacks dedicated ownership. We have valuable customer stories and advocacy opportunities across the business, yet much of the work is performed reactively or through sporadic efforts.
• We seek someone who can transform customer marketing into a more strategic and systematic function that enhances:
• - Pipeline growth
• - Enterprise credibility and trust
• - Product adoption and expansion
• - Sales enablement
• - Campaign performance
• You will define the roadmap, establish the foundations, and create systems that allow customer proof to become one of the company’s strongest market assets.

• **What you’ll do**
• - Oversee the customer marketing strategy at n8n
• - Develop a scalable program for customer advocacy, storytelling, references, and proof-based marketing
• - Create a structured approach to sourcing and prioritizing customer stories across various industries, use cases, and product areas
• - Produce high-quality customer materials including:
• - Case studies
• - Testimonials
• - Customer narratives
• - Reference programs
• - Co-marketing initiatives
• - Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, Partnerships, Demand Generation, Content, and DevRel teams
• - Collect compelling customer stories from post-sales teams and transform them into valuable assets for marketing and sales
• - Assist Sales teams in utilizing customer proof more effectively in outbound activities, enterprise discussions, and deal support
• - Establish processes, tools, and workflows that enable customer marketing to scale over time
• - Assess performance and enhance programs based on what generates the most impact
• **What success looks like** Within the first 6 to 12 months, you will:
• - Define clear ownership and direction for customer marketing
• - Create a repeatable pipeline of customer stories and advocacy opportunities
• - Enhance the quality and usability of customer proof assets
• - Improve how Sales and Marketing teams access and utilize customer evidence
• - Enable n8n to articulate stronger narratives around customer outcomes, technical impact, and business value
• Success may be evaluated through:
• - Published customer stories and case studies
• - Growth in referenceable customers and advocates
• - Adoption of customer assets by Sales teams
• - Contribution to campaigns and GTM initiatives
• - Feedback from internal stakeholders
• Senior IC experience in customer marketing, product marketing, customer advocacy, or content-led storytelling within a high-growth B2B SaaS company
• Experience in crafting strategy, structure, and operating processes in functions that are still developing
• Proven ability to convert customer stories into assets that aid both marketing and sales
• Capability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
• Strong editorial judgment and storytelling ability, with a keen sense of what makes a customer story commercially valuable
• Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Experience in supporting enterprise or technical buyers with proof-oriented content
• Nice to have: Experience in developing customer advocacy or reference programs
• Nice to have: Background in technical SaaS, developer tools, automation, AI, infrastructure, or related fields
• Nice to have: Experience in creating sales enablement assets used in outbound or enterprise sales strategies
• Nice to have: Familiarity with open-source, fair-code, or community-driven product environments
• Nice to have: Experience in defining systems and workflows that later scaled into broader programs or teams
• Nice to have: Exposure to global or multi-region GTM organizations across Europe and the US.
