
Customer Marketing Manager – Advocacy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement customer marketing initiatives and programs aimed at driving ARR growth through expansion and upselling strategies.
• Analyze and report on marketing-influenced ARR and pipeline generated from customer-focused programs.
• Collaborate with the Demand Generation and Thought Leadership teams to ensure marketing efforts resonate with customers.
• Work alongside the Product Marketing Manager on customer communications for seasonal product launches.
• Analyze NPS survey results and present insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Engage cross-functionally with Customer Success and Account Management for enablement, campaign calendar coordination, and updates on product releases.
• Establish and oversee a referenceable customer pool to facilitate the sales process, including reference calls, case studies, and peer review platforms.
• Lead the strategy for G2 reviews and Gartner Peer Insights while ensuring quarterly review volume targets are met.
• Identify, recruit, and cultivate customer advocates and ambassadors.
• Broaden the referenceable client base and enhance the speed of fulfilling reference requests.
• Assist customer speakers for events, webinars, and thought leadership opportunities.
• Over 8 years of overall marketing experience, with at least 5 years specifically in customer marketing and advocacy roles within B2B SaaS.
• Demonstrated success in both aspects of the role—customer marketing programs linked to ARR growth and a practice of referenceability and advocacy.
• Proven experience in executing ARR-influenced marketing programs with quantifiable results.
• Practical experience in building and managing a customer reference pool, including reference calls, case studies, G2 reviews, and advocacy activation.
• Background in conducting NPS surveys and distilling data for leadership insights.
• Ability to confidently lead the customer marketing function within a small team.
• Proficient in marketing automation tools, Pendo, Hubspot, Salesforce, and survey platforms.
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple programs concurrently.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience in HR tech is a plus.
• Experience in enabling cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Account Management, and Product Marketing.
