This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Achievement of Sales Objectives: Fulfill the goals set by principals, encompassing volume and sales fundamentals such as merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving targets at designated customers, all while minimizing costs.

• Strategic Development: Create a detailed Customer Business Plan that aligns with the business priorities of the principals and promotes long-term success.

• Customer Engagement: Directly interact with all decision-makers at the customer level to present and sell business plans, programs, and concepts that improve business outcomes.

• Cost Efficiency: Attain results at the lowest selling cost possible while maximizing company revenue through avenues such as brokerage, commissions, bonuses, contest earnings, and more. Supervise all manufacturers’ expenditures at the customer level.

• In-Store Effectiveness: Guarantee a competitively superior in-store presence in assigned stores by liaising with headquarters, supervisors, and other customer operations personnel for both direct and indirect customers.

• Trade Marketing Management: Oversee manufacturers’ trade marketing budgets, manage direct shipments through the Sales Support Coordinator, and utilize data to advocate concepts to the customer.

• Budget Compliance: Operate within the allocated budget, ensuring optimal resource utilization.

• Open Communication: Keep lines of communication open with key principals to ensure alignment and cooperative efforts.

• Retail Collaboration: Work alongside Retail Sales Managers on significant retail initiatives, including new product launches, sales drives, and contests.

• Market Insight: Leverage your understanding of the customer, market, and principal to engage marketing, technology, and administrative resources in reaching objectives.

• Timely Priority Updates: Share timely selling priority information with Retail Sales Managers, supervisors, and shared resources in marketing, technology, and administration.

• Team Information Sharing: Exchange insights and customer/principal information with team members to enhance organizational capability and foster collective success.

• Technology Application: Employ computer systems and technology to fulfill the objectives of the Customer Business Plan and consistently enhance skills to support the use of Acosta communication systems.

• Constructive Feedback: Provide feedback to the Team Leader and/or General Manager regarding strategies to enhance organizational capacity and improve business processes.

• Special Assignments: Undertake special projects as requested, contributing to the team’s overall success.


⛳️ Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor of Arts Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Relevant Experience: At least six months of pertinent experience in retail (CPG industry), marketing, space management, and/or resets. Experience in sales administration or finance is preferred.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft software, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with a solid understanding of web-based applications. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential.

• Project Management Skills: Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently with excellent organizational skills.
