This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• This role is situated within a Call Center environment, handling inbound calls and making outbound calls in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
• Offers comprehensive support for Geisinger patients by utilizing in-depth knowledge and serving as an advocate for any concerns or issues related to processes and functions.
• Executes all accounts receivable tasks, which encompass, but are not limited to, cash collection, account resolution, discount application, the establishment and management of monthly payment plans, and providing information on financial assistance programs.
• Provides education to patients about billing, insurance, and regulatory matters of varying complexity.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and proactively manages recommendations in a diplomatic manner.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) - (Required)
• At least 1 year of related work experience (Required)
• A minimum of 1 year in Customer Service (Preferred)
• Required skills include Communication, Customer Retention, Customer Service, and understanding of Customer Support Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
