
Customer Experience Specialist – Temp-Hire, Part-time, Weekends

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers concerning their orders, delivery schedules, and product availability.
• Process and oversee customer orders within ERP systems, guaranteeing accuracy and completeness.
• Deliver prompt responses to customer inquiries, including order status, shipping updates, and product details.
• Keep precise customer records and maintain order documentation.
• Work closely with the sales team to address customer needs and ensure alignment on order fulfillment.
• Coordinate shipments with internal warehouse teams, third-party logistics providers, and freight carriers.
• Monitor the status of order fulfillment and shipments to guarantee timely delivery.
• Track and address shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including packing lists, invoices, and any necessary export documentation.
• Assist with international shipments and ensure compliance with relevant import/export regulations.
• Oversee the entire order lifecycle from order entry to delivery confirmation.
• Identify potential supply chain disruptions and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, planning, finance, and quality teams to resolve order-related issues.
• Aid in backlog management and prioritize deliveries.
• Discover opportunities to enhance order processing, logistics coordination, and customer communication.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives such as Kaizen or operational workflow enhancements.
• Assist in documenting customer service and logistics procedures.
• Contribute to performance tracking metrics such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in customer service, order management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) is required.
• Strong preference for SAP proficiency.
• Comprehensive understanding of order processing and logistics coordination.
• Preferred experience working with freight carriers and logistics providers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
