Customer Delivery Engineering Technical Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Engaging with customers in the role of a Customer Reliability Engineer (CRE).

• Implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices for clients.

• Integrating these practices into the Isovalent software suite utilized both on-premises and across leading cloud platforms on Kubernetes.

• Developing a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and their system architectures.

• Collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver exceptional support and resolve incidents efficiently.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in supporting and engaging with enterprise clients in a technical role.

• Proficiency in securing operating system (OS) instances, applications, and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with operating Linux systems.

• Experience in managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters in production settings.

• Knowledge of at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Proven expertise in networking concepts and technologies across OSI layers 2 to 7.

• Understanding of best practices for Linux OS security and their implementation in cloud-native environments.

• Demonstrated experience with network troubleshooting tools, including packet capture and analysis software.

• At least 2 years of experience serving as a higher escalation point across multiple product lines.

• Skilled in resolving issues related to Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies within small to medium-sized Kubernetes environments.

• Previous professional exposure to Container Networking Interfaces (CNI), including their installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Customer Reliability Engineering (CRE) practices, which include Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs), Customer Test Environments (CuTEs), tooling, monitoring, knowledge base creation, and retrospective assessments.

• Practical experience with Terraform for deploying infrastructure resources.
