Customer Contract Manager, Budgeting Exp Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Takes ownership of and oversees the contracts process, collaborating proactively with Project Leads and Business Development to develop and execute contract documents, prioritizing customer satisfaction.

• Drives achievement of established corporate targets and departmental objectives through effective management and prioritization of workload.

• Identifies risks related to projects and individual contracts, providing prompt resolutions to ensure contracts and change orders are executed in a timely manner.

• Maintains responsibility for the contract process, ensuring timely delivery and execution that aligns with standard cycle times.

• Leads negotiations and the preparation of both financial and contractual terms within complex customer agreements.

• Offers clear analysis and recommendations to internal stakeholders and Project Leads.

• Works closely with the Pricing and Proposals teams to finalize budgets and financial models.

• Successfully negotiates with customers to achieve financially acceptable outcomes for both parties.

• Regularly updates and maintains accurate records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Contract Management System, adhering to Customer Contract Management (CCM) processes.

• Complies with all CCM review processes, consistently striving to deliver a high-quality product to both internal stakeholders and external customers.


⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a Legal field.

• A minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience, ideally in contract drafting and/or contracts management within the pharmaceutical research, go-to-market, and/or healthcare sectors; or a suitable combination of education, training, and experience.

• Must possess a customer-centric mindset, be self-motivated, and take initiative.

• Demonstrates flexibility in adapting to job demands.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and above-average attention to detail are essential.

• Capable of performing multiple tasks simultaneously to meet critical deadlines.

• Strong analytical skills are required.

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are necessary.

• Demonstrates effective time management abilities.

• Ability to prioritize various tasks with guidance and oversight from management.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships with colleagues and management.

• Professional demeanor when interacting with individuals at all levels and diverse personalities.
