Customer Care Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Nursing to obtain patient consents.

• Secure consent whenever feasible.

• Identify the most effective method to inform nurses about new starts or restarts that require signed consent.

• Train new hires on the consent process.

• Access Moffitt’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

• Upload patient progress notes and VA authorizations into Express.

• Review patient schedules to assist with consents.

• Document at-home disconnects and ensure pumps are returned to InfuSystem.

• Provide support to Moffitt staff.

• Clean pumps at MCC for re-issuance or assist in boxing and returning them.

• Help with ordering and maintaining a PAR of supplies.

• Assign serial numbers at MCC when feasible.

• Enter RGAs for any malfunctioning pumps.

• Ensure optimal utilization of pumps.

• Address customer complaints.

• Identify any missing order information required for billing (e.g., diagnosis codes, physician names, drug regimens).

• Capture any doctor signatures that are currently missing.

• Obtain a paper recertification if necessary.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Previous healthcare experience is required.

• Clinical background.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Access, and Excel.

• Excellent telephone communication skills.

• Professional demeanor, organized, and detail-oriented.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Capability to write routine reports and correspondence.

• A valid driver’s license is required.
