Customer Business Manager I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Overseeing customer relationships for a portfolio of clients across various growth channels, including Convenience, Drug, Limited Assortment, and Military.

• Meeting growth targets related to distribution, promotions, trade spending, and retail media initiatives.

• Leading the internal processes for annual planning, forecasting, budget management, customer line reviews, and retail execution strategies.

• Attaining net sales, trade spend goals, and profit objectives through new customer acquisition and enhancing existing partnerships within the Convenience and Drug Channels, as well as ALT channel customers.

• Converting national sales strategies into customer-focused plans which include innovation, merchandising initiatives, digital strategies, and an insights framework.

• Working collaboratively with cross-functional internal teams to facilitate customer planning and execution.

• Building effective partnerships with brokers to achieve both internal and customer goals.

• Offering retail and in-store execution support for the Military channel under the supervision of the CBM III.

• Business travel is required (10-25%).

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or alternatively, 6 years of directly relevant experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales and Marketing within the CPG industry, including customer management.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and navigate complex situations.

• Proficiency in making data-driven, insightful decisions by utilizing sales reporting and consumption analysis tools.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, complemented by strong presentation capabilities.

• A valid driver’s license is required.
