This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take personal responsibility and ownership for outcomes, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the Walmart customer and awareness of the competitive landscape.
• Support the team in developing and reaching objectives.
• Build and sustain effective customer relationships.
• Meet targeted sales and financial goals.
• Comprehend customer needs and connect them to Lactalis product and service strategies to create mutually advantageous business plans.
• Utilize customer and consumer insights to drive data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with the broader sales team, sales planning, and other cross-functional partners within the organization to formulate and implement strategic initiatives in your area of responsibility (EDLP plans, distribution initiatives, optimized assortment, new product launch execution, and more).
• Accountable for customer sales and EDLP planning.
• Work in tandem with the broader sales team and sales planner to continuously manage and assess trade spending efficiency.
• Effectively utilize and apply insights from external sales data resources (Scintilla, Circana, etc.).
• Capitalize on our position as a category leader in the market.
• Facilitate discussions regarding the supply chain.
• Gather and analyze syndicated and customer-specific data to identify category and industry trends.
• Understand and apply category management principles to influence distribution and shelf space allocation.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales and sales leadership experience in the food industry is required.
• Experience with Walmart is highly preferred.
• Direct sales experience is preferred.
• Experience in Category Management and/or Omnichannel Marketing is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the industry and Walmart channel is preferred.
• Familiarity with Walmart’s Scintilla system is preferred, or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across various functions.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Self-driven with a high level of initiative, accountability, and a demonstrated potential for leadership advancement.
• Experience in an entrepreneurial or high-growth organization is a plus.
