This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Assist in customer analytics projects by converting customer, transaction, and marketing data into actionable insights for the business.
• Collaborate with analytics and client teams to gain insights into customer behavior, audience performance, retention, loyalty, and marketing effectiveness.
• Utilize SQL and other data extraction tools to query and analyze customer data.
• Employ Python and visualization tools to analyze data, uncover trends, identify opportunities, and formulate business recommendations.
• Create recurring reports, dashboards, and perform data quality checks.
• Aid in customer segmentation, audience development, and the measurement of campaign effectiveness.
• Support the design, reporting, and interpretation of A/B tests.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Work in conjunction with data engineering and analytics teams to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
• A bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience, including internships, is preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL is mandatory.
• Experience with Python for data analysis is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate data into practical business insights are necessary.
• SQL expertise, including joins, CTEs, aggregations, and window functions, is required.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas, are needed.
• Experience in querying and manipulating large datasets is expected.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
• Preferred: Skills in Python, including pandas, NumPy, data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and automation.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery is desirable.
• Exposure to R or SAS is beneficial.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines is a plus.
• Experience with CRM, loyalty, retail, or customer behavioral datasets is preferred.
• Must be able to support both East and Central Time Zones.
• This position is W2 on dentsu payroll only.
