Curriculum Designer, Trainer II

📋 Description

• The Curriculum Designer & Trainer II is tasked with the creation, updating, and delivery of training materials for both online and in-person learning environments.

• Strategize and develop multimedia learning courses for Niagara’s learning management system, collaborating closely with the training team.

• Address issues with multimedia content produced by less technical members of the Training and Development team.

• Support the creation of video and audio elements essential for developing learning assets.

• Work in partnership with subject matter experts to ensure the content is accurate and relevant.

• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and adjust future offerings to better serve the business’s needs.

• Create and present training materials on company processes and products to help team members enhance, maintain, and expand their technical and process knowledge.

• Travel to various Niagara facilities, vendors, or customers as required to collaborate and assist with related activities.

• 2 Years – Experience in a relevant field or similar manufacturing environment.

• 2 Years – Experience in a similar role.

• 2 Years – Experience managing teams or projects.

• 4 Years – Experience in a relevant field or similar manufacturing environment (Preferred).

• 4 Years – Experience in a similar role (Preferred).

• 4 Years – Experience managing teams or projects (Preferred).

• Proficient in, but not limited to: Adult learning methods and pedagogy, Articulate 360 Suite, Vyond, Camtasia, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly PowerPoint), Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite (CS6) including InDesign, Flash Professional, Captivate, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, and Acrobat.

• Familiarity with the creation and upkeep of wikis.

• Multimedia skills: Adept at manipulating and synchronizing audio files for e-learning, with experience in and willingness to perform voice-over work.

• Capability to identify and interpret multimedia design requirements and to create innovative and responsive design concepts.

• Understanding of general instructional design principles, including familiarity with LMS functionality and its role in delivering e-learning courses.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Self-motivated with a demonstrated history of taking initiative.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Able to perform tasks in a highly dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
