This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Full responsibility for all process steps related to new meals, recipe modifications, nutritional content, editorial, and instructional details, including the upkeep of tracking tools.
• Support internal teams and chefs throughout the meal life-cycle, from idea generation to market introduction; collaborate with independent chefs to enhance internal visibility, consistency, and process optimization.
• Capable of calculating and entering scalable portion sizes and recipe yields.
• Perform evaluations of recipe inputs based on established targets and metrics, as well as culinary best practices and recipe precision.
• Submit and monitor new recipes, recipe updates, and new ingredient SKUs.
• Organize recipes using a CU tagging and designation system based on cuisine type and dietary preferences.
• Engage in weekly collaboration with internal teams, chefs, and various departments regarding meal updates.
• Prioritize new recipes based on business requirements and chef input.
• Handle incoming inquiries and compile essential information that chefs (independent contractors) need for recipe development, edits, and updates.
• Facilitate onboarding and training for chefs on the CU platform and recipe development systems.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Strong skills in data collection, communication, and problem-solving are essential.
• Culinary background is required - at least 2 years of experience in the food industry, with knowledge of ingredients and sourcing, specifically in recipe development, testing, batch scaling, and edible portion yields for large volume foodservice operations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment - proficient in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Experience and expertise in data entry, food production enterprise resource or recipe management software, food labeling and compliance programs, GSuite, and Slack are crucial.
• Capability to collaborate cross-functionally with chefs and other CU stakeholders on significant nutritional label compliance, ordering, and scheduling matters.
• Ability to utilize generative AI to enhance output quality and efficiency.
• An optimistic, resourceful, and curious mindset regarding diverse cuisine types, ready to tackle any challenges that arise.
