CSM – CA Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead the local Metrc team in California to provide services that align with client goals.

• Build and maintain relationships with client agencies through regular updates, a deep understanding of the Metrc system and State regulations, and consistent productive meetings.

• Collaborate with internal Metrc departments to deliver resources that meet client agency requests.

• Provide briefings and strategic advice to Metrc senior and executive leadership regarding California operations.

• Identify weaknesses in operational processes and propose effective solutions.

• Represent California’s Metrc team at special events.

• Oversee one or more multi-disciplinary Agile delivery teams to produce products or iterations that satisfy user requirements.

• Engage in project risk and issue management activities as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure all contract deliverables are provided in accordance with the approved work authorizations.

• Create and uphold the Maintenance & Operations Plan, executing service delivery to support all M&O activities.

• May undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 24 months of experience in a project manager or project director capacity for a project or maintenance and operations engagement with a budget of at least $5 million.

• Proven experience in managing the delivery of mission-critical services to clients.

• Ability to translate customer business requirements into actionable data insights.

• Skilled in data analysis to ensure that business needs and technical specifications are fulfilled.

• Preferred experience with government projects.

• Preferred background in the regulated cannabis industry and government policies.

• Candidates must be located within the state of California.
