Cruise Ship Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Full command of the vessel and accountability for ensuring the safety of crew, passengers, and environmental protection.

• Oversee the occupational health, safety, and welfare of the crew, as well as the safety of passengers.

• Ensure adherence to international regulations and company safety practices and policies.

• Guarantee that all Officers and Crew members are well-acquainted with the Company's Management System.

• Promote and maintain a strong Safety & Health culture along with Environmental and Energy Efficiency awareness.

• Ensure that safety and operational efficiency are upheld on board.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Certificate of Competency (STCW Reg II/2) with verification.

• Current STCW certifications necessary for the position.

• Comprehensive knowledge of ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, and other maritime regulations.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and crisis management abilities.

• Proficient in English; additional languages are advantageous and recommended.

• Commitment to a safety-oriented culture and mindset.

• Experience working in a multicultural environment.

• Significant experience as Captain or Staff Captain on large cruise ships equipped with Azipod propulsion systems.

• Familiarity with global itineraries.
