Cross-Functional Program Manager – Strategic Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take charge of projects from inception to completion, particularly those that engage multiple teams or extend beyond current product boundaries.

• Apply our four-tier decision-making framework and RACI models to guarantee that each project has a designated owner and defined decision-making authority.

• Organize quarterly and monthly alignment meetings to link team roadmaps with our three strategic frameworks.

• Maintain effective tracking systems (Asana) to provide the Innovation and Operations Council with a real-time overview of initiative status, risks, and obstacles.

• Oversee critical cross-functional projects including GDPR/VAT compliance, system migrations, and fundraising initiatives related to grants.

• Develop and document best practices to facilitate the integration of project management as an 'embedded skill' across the organization by 2027.

• Recognize and introduce AI-driven workflow automations to help us achieve our objective of reallocating resources towards 'Transformation' work.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in program management, preferably within a scaling nonprofit or global organization.

• No formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, CSM) is necessary.

• Demonstrated capability to establish structure in uncertain environments and maintain a 'bias toward action.'

• Strong, clear, and straightforward communication skills with the ability to enforce accountability across different functions.

• Skill in identifying recurring workflow issues and suggesting practical, simple enhancements.

• Advanced proficiency in Asana and Notion.

• A keen interest in leveraging AI tools to automate routine administrative duties.

• A dedication to the principles of awareness, compassion, and wisdom in collaborative work.
