Crop Insurance Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough investigations to identify causes and estimate the percentage of loss, utilizing your independent judgment in claims management.

• Refer any unresolved issues or challenges to the Area Claims Supervisor.

• Explain regulations and procedural interpretations to claimants, agents, and industry professionals regarding claims matters.

• Clearly articulate our stance on emerging industry issues such as new specialty crops or the expansion of coverage programs.

• Continuously enhance your understanding of RMA rules, regulations, and ProAg procedures pertaining to the application of all MPCI, Crop Hail, and Federal Crop Insurance regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• Experience in crop insurance related to claims or compliance, or any relevant agricultural background.

• Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Proficiency in basic computer and internet applications.

• Effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.

• Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel.

• Completion of the Claim Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) certification and/or any necessary licenses mandated by State agencies is preferred.
