Crop Claims Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Utilize judgment to assess liability by collecting and evaluating pertinent facts.

• Analyze applicable coverage for claims to ascertain policy verification and coverage.

• Engage in reviews and referrals initiated by the Risk Management Agency to ensure operational integrity.

• Safeguard Zurich’s reputation by maintaining confidentiality of claims information.

• Enhance professional and technical expertise by taking part in educational opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the agricultural or crop insurance sector.

• Acquisition of Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) Certification is required within 180 days of the hire date.

• Must have personal transportation and be willing to travel within the assigned territory.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate level.
