CRO Shopify Specialist, AB Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Strategize, implement, and evaluate A/B tests and multivariate experiments across Shopify platforms, including landing pages, product pages, collections, checkout processes, and other essential customer interactions.

• Take charge of the CRO roadmap by spotting conversion opportunities and prioritizing experiments based on their potential impact on the business.

• Formulate data-driven hypotheses and testing strategies aimed at boosting conversion rates, revenue, customer engagement, and retention.

• Utilize extensive Shopify knowledge to enhance store performance, user experience, and conversion pathways.

• Work in partnership with designers, developers, and marketers to develop, execute, and assess test variations.

• Examine customer behavior using tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, Hotjar, and other behavioral tracking and analytics platforms.

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and offer actionable insights based on testing outcomes.

• Produce comprehensive reports detailing experiment performance, insights, learnings, and business impact.

• Continuously enhance customer journeys through persistent experimentation, analysis, and optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3+ years of professional experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and digital experimentation.

• Substantial hands-on experience with Shopify and Shopify Plus stores is essential.

• Demonstrated success in designing, executing, analyzing, and scaling effective A/B testing programs in e-commerce settings.

• Strong grasp of CRO frameworks, UX principles, customer psychology, and e-commerce conversion funnels.

• Familiarity with A/B testing platforms, analytics tools, and behavioral analysis solutions.

• Excellent analytical skills with the capability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable growth strategies.

• Experience collaborating closely with designers and developers to implement testing variations.

• Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote setting.

• Availability during CET business hours.

• Proficient written and spoken English skills.
