This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Effectively managing the designated territory by targeting key customers, which include physicians, biomedical engineers, nurses, and pharmacy professionals.
• Promoting products in accordance with approved labeling and marketing strategies.
• Conducting financial analyses of accounts and executing contract negotiations that align with the procurement processes of key accounts and/or health networks.
• Developing strategic management plans for the territory to ensure revenue growth for company products.
• Achieving assigned customer promotional reach and frequency targets.
• Handling after-hours calls as part of the Customer Care after-hours call roster, which rotates among front-line team members.
• Effectively communicating with specialty physicians.
• Providing timely reports to the manager on work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, and expense reports.
• Working independently without supervision.
• Demonstrating a strong aptitude for learning technical and scientific information related to products.
• Exhibiting a high level of negotiation and influencing skills.
• Possessing experience in the contracting and tendering processes within the Japanese hospital landscape.
• Showing a high level of competency in analyzing and interpreting sales data and translating insights into actionable plans at the account and territory level.
• Managing monthly invoicing activities by verifying product hourly usage and obtaining hospital confirmation before invoicing.
• Successfully maintaining relationships with partner companies to ensure a smooth supply of products to hospitals.
• Completing all Post Market Surveillance tasks, such as contracting, CRF collection, and reporting, promptly.
• Operating within the approved budgetary guidelines.
• Providing excellent field communication and direction through emails, voicemails, conference calls, etc.
• Coordinating activities with Field Teammates, Internal Teammates, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance, Operations, and Technical Support.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures, and the comprehensive compliance program.
• Native proficiency in the Japanese language is a must.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience is essential, with experience in medical device products considered a plus.
• Experience in cardiovascular surgery is advantageous.
• Strong skills in engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others without positional authority.
• A proactive work style.
• Open to feedback and receptive to the opinions and recommendations of others.
