📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional crisis intervention and emotional support to individuals reaching out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline through phone, online chat, and SMS text.

• Respond to 988 inquiries, whether calls, chats, or texts, with compassion and professionalism.

• Perform assessments for suicide and behavioral health risks.

• De-escalate high-stress situations utilizing evidence-based techniques.

• Collaborate with on-duty clinicians when an elevated risk is detected.

• Develop safety and action plans in partnership with callers.

• Offer referrals and linkages to community resources.

• Ensure precise and timely documentation is completed.

• Uphold confidentiality and comply with all program and organizational protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED along with four (4) years of full-time experience in behavioral health, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Proficient in multitasking across various software platforms.

• Comfortable working independently during evening or overnight shifts.

• Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential must be obtained by the end of the probationary period; applications should be submitted within 30 days of hiring.
