Criminal Defense, Family Law Consulting Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Conduct consultations with potential clients in the areas of Criminal Defense and Family Law via phone.

• Evaluate the legal needs of prospective clients to determine if Price Benowitz is a suitable match.

• Articulate the firm’s services and assist clients throughout the engagement process.

• Connect prospective clients with the appropriate attorney based on their specific legal issues.

• Draft and finalize retainer agreements.

• Keep precise consultation notes within the firm’s CRM and case management systems.

• Adhere to established consultation workflows while ensuring an outstanding client experience.

• Collaborate with the Intake and Marketing teams to enhance client acquisition and conversion strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Maryland Bar license in good standing (mandatory)

• Previous experience in Criminal Defense is required

• Familiarity with Family Law is highly preferred

• Experience in conducting legal consultations or in a law firm intake environment is highly desirable

• Exceptional verbal communication and active listening abilities

• Capability to communicate with empathy, professionalism, and assurance

• Strong organizational and computer skills, including experience with CRM and case management software

• Background in sales, client intake, or customer service is a considerable advantage.
