Crew Lead Electrician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the installation of residential backup battery systems

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting field-related failures

• Conducting repairs for inspection failures

• Onboarding and training new installation teams and/or subcontractors

• Engaging with inspectors and Authority Having Jurisdictions (AHJs) for inspections and other initiatives

• Becoming a subject matter expert on Base hardware, general electrical principles, and relevant NEC Codes

• Responding to on-call responsibilities for urgent electrical issues during nights and weekends on a scheduled rotational basis

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Electrician license obtained through a written examination in Northern Illinois

• Preferred experience in the installation or maintenance of battery backup systems, EV chargers, PV systems, or whole-home generators

• Availability for onboarding, training, and overseeing battery system installations near Base’s manufacturing and operations headquarters in Austin, Texas, with an expected in-person onboarding duration of approximately 30 days
