Credit Review Officer – Payments, Counterparty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Conduct individual assessments of credit files to evaluate the quality of underwriting and portfolio management activities.

• Independently verify and modify risk ratings as needed.

• Engage in active, dynamic, and thorough credit risk intelligence operations.

• Identify loans that exhibit potential or clearly defined weaknesses.

• Carry out prompt and detailed analyses to uncover trends impacting the quality of the loan portfolio.

• Evaluate the sufficiency and compliance with internal credit policies and procedures.

• Oversee adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

• Maintain current knowledge of credit review methodologies and regulatory expectations.

• Lead a team of reviewers, conduct assessments of credit portfolios, and offer appropriate reviews and challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree - preferred

• Master’s Degree – preferred

• 6-12 years of experience in credit, particularly in Payments and/or Counterparty Credit Risk, is preferred.

• Relevant professional certification is preferred, such as:

o ProSight/RMA Credit Risk Certification (CRC)

o Moody’s Analytics Certificate in Commercial Credit (CICC)
