This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +13 more states.
• Evaluates the financial strengths and weaknesses of potential and current customers to assess their eligibility for credit, financing, or related services.
• Establishes and nurtures effective communication within a reliable information network.
• Designs, executes, and oversees efficient collection procedures that align with established credit policies.
• Oversees the collections process to ensure timely follow-up inquiries, negotiations with overdue accounts, and referrals to collection agencies.
• Provides recommendations for updates to the credit policy based on new concepts and procedures.
• Analyzes and suggests specific reserves for bad debt expense when assigned.
• Understands, articulates, and implements Simplot's Credit Policy and Procedures.
• Aids in the provision and interpretation of credit information for management and other stakeholders as needed.
• Stays updated on agricultural trends, changes, and practices.
• Supervises 2 Credit Analysts within the region.
• Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
• 5+ years of relevant experience and/or training in Credit Management and Financial Services.
• Experience in Ag Finance is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in Turf & Horticulture is preferred.
