Credit & Collections Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete accounts receivable process, which includes credit management, cash application, and collections.

• Guide, train, and mentor team members, ensuring high performance and opportunities for professional growth.

• Spearhead the implementation of FIS GETPAID, an automation tool for accounts receivable.

• Create and implement collection strategies aimed at reducing delinquency and enhancing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

• Address escalated customer issues, offering solutions and facilitating the collections process.

• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve payment-related issues.

• Ensure precise cash applications and manage the reconciliation of unapplied cash.

• Conduct financial and credit assessments for new customer applications.

• Review delinquent accounts to confirm that all necessary actions have been taken before designating them as bad debt.

• Assist in the month-end close process by generating AR-related reports and analyses.

• Create monthly reports for senior leadership concerning AR aging, collection metrics, and cash flow projections.

• Evaluate, suggest, and promote enhancements to ERP systems to boost efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• At least 7 years of experience in credit and collections, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity.

• Familiarity with FIS GETPAID.

• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (experience with Infor XA and Syteline is a plus).

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills.
