Credentialing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Complete enrollment applications for health plans for both group and individual submissions across Medicaid and commercial payors.

• Directly communicate with providers to collect the necessary information for credentialing application submissions.

• Ensure compliance with application requirements to confirm that all required information is submitted to health plans.

• Follow up on pending enrollments through phone, email, and portal to hasten provider enrollment approval.

• Monitor the status of applications and suggest solutions to address credentialing delays and rejections.

• Track application progress and follow-ups directly within Salesforce.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in health plan enrollment.

• Preferred: Experience with Medicaid enrollment.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and possess native or bilingual English proficiency.

• Familiarity with and a willingness to utilize cloud-based communication software, including Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, and Salesforce.
