This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate the comprehensive credentialing process for OCN providers, working closely with our third-party credentialing partner on a daily basis.
• Monitor application progress among payers and providers; alert relevant internal personnel to any delays or potential timeline risks.
• Follow up on any missing or incomplete information required for provider applications; engage directly with providers and practice staff to gather necessary details.
• Assist in determining when group credentialing is the appropriate strategy and support the coordination of those submissions.
• Respond to inquiries from the internal team regarding credentialing status, timelines, and necessary requirements.
• Ensure accurate and current tracking of all credentialing activities.
• Collaborate with RCM and Operations teams to guarantee that credentialing milestones are in sync with billing preparedness and go-live schedules.
• Participate in the documentation and enhancement of processes as the network expands.
• 2–5 years of experience in healthcare payer credentialing or provider enrollment.
• Understanding of essential credentialing principles: CAQH management, payer enrollment processes, group versus individual credentialing, and typical application obstacles.
• Excellent organizational skills — you meticulously track your tasks, consistently follow through, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Able to manage multiple applications and providers at once without losing sight of important details.
• Strong, professional communication skills — both internally and with providers and payer representatives.
• Experience in a multi-provider or multi-site setting is advantageous.
• Background in psychiatric, behavioral health, or specialty practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with healthcare technology or startup environments is beneficial, but not mandatory.
