Creator Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee high-level relationships with existing and prospective creators, producers, networks, and publishers.

• Recognize opportunities for audience expansion, which includes identifying, reaching out to, pitching, and onboarding new content partners to Acast, alongside nurturing new podcasting talent and formats.

• Negotiate contractual agreements with content providers (including independent podcasters, talent agents/managers, and networks).

• Collaborate with these creators to devise customized strategies aimed at increasing their revenue and audience through various approaches encompassing marketing, content ideation, product adoption, and close coordination with our sales, marketing, and creative brand partnerships teams.

• Ensure that local and global sales teams have all the necessary information to effectively monetize your creators’ shows.

• Provide guidance and support to content partners for seamless integration into our systems.

• Maintain internal tracking documents as required.

• Coordinate and consult with other internal teams such as product, legal, and communications.

• Assist with branded content sales initiatives as needed.

• Organize and deliver regular partnership review meetings with creators.

• Handle ad hoc projects as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Direct experience working with talent, creators, and agents is preferred.

• You possess a commercial mindset with a solid understanding of content, audience development, and the media landscape.

• You demonstrate outstanding verbal and written interpersonal, relationship management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• You are a collaborative team player who is creative, highly motivated, and a genuine self-starter.

• Ability to establish a pipeline and negotiate agreements effectively.

• Previous experience in creator or branded partnerships, production, journalism, digital media, or marketing is advantageous.

• Proficiency with technology is a plus.

• Fluency in French and residence in Montreal is mandatory.
