This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Transform the directives from the founders into concise and effective creative briefs.
• Collaborate with the creative coordinator and freelancers to ensure that the output meets established requirements.
• Conduct reviews and quality assurance on all creative materials before they are published.
• Offer constructive feedback and iterate swiftly.
• Ensure that the creative output aligns with performance objectives, competitor standards, and effective ad formats.
• Track account performance across Meta Ads, landing pages, and essential funnel metrics.
• Identify what strategies are successful, what are not, and where potential issues may arise.
• Clearly communicate insights to the founder regarding what is off, potential reasons, and previous attempts to rectify the situation.
• Maintain a straightforward operational rhythm; if performance is satisfactory, explain the rationale, and if not, identify the problems and outline next steps.
• Collaborate closely with the media buyer.
• Ensure proper setup and management of campaigns.
• Review outputs and highlight any issues.
• Confirm that creative elements are being tested appropriately.
• Oversee execution across 3–5 client accounts.
• Make sure all tasks are well-defined, assigned, and completed punctually.
• Manage workflows using tools such as Trello and Slack.
• Follow up on any blockers and missed actions.
• Provide structured weekly updates to the founder.
• Prepare materials for client calls.
• Maintain clear visibility regarding account status, performance metrics, and next steps.
• Assist in ad copy creation, including writing hooks, generating variations, and iterating based on performance results.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance output efficiency.
• Refine outputs to ensure they are both high-quality and usable.
• 2–4 years of experience in a digital agency setting.
• Familiarity with ecommerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) accounts.
• Practical experience with Meta campaigns, creative testing, and performance reporting.
• A strong operational mindset focused on execution.
• Comfortable with detailed, hands-on work.
• Ability to differentiate between high-quality and low-quality outputs.
• Skilled in early issue identification.
• Capable of following through on execution tasks.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proactive and accountable in all responsibilities.
