This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take charge of the organic social strategy and its execution across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, determining the content creation, its purpose, and target audiences for both buyers and sellers.
• Capture and edit most of the content personally: whether on-site with customers, during conferences, or in the field, producing platform-native videos that capture attention within the initial two seconds.
• Establish a repeatable content creation system, including formats, series, and shot lists that a small team can execute weekly without the need to reinvent the process each time.
• Create a measurement framework and interpret it sincerely: tracking metrics like retention curves, follower growth, saves, shares, profile-to-site traffic, and their contributions to listings, threads, and GMV.
• Transform insights into actionable iterations — discontinue formats that fail to engage, amplify those that succeed, and articulate the reasons behind these decisions.
• Cultivate talent and on-camera presence, from our internal team to the operators, mechanics, and experts who bring this category to life.
• Support the broader marketing strategy — ensure that top-performing organic content informs our paid advertising, email marketing, and conference presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Over 4 years of experience producing social-first video content, with a portfolio that demonstrates your capabilities.
• You are both the shooter and editor — adept at independently managing a shoot (including framing, lighting, and audio) and proficient in editing software (such as Premiere, Capcut, After Effects, etc.).
• Proven experience in growing an account or channel from scratch, with the ability to discuss the metrics you influenced and the strategic decisions made.
• Deep understanding of platform mechanics — knowledge of how algorithms distribute content, current effective formats, and the reasoning behind their success.
• Comfortable with rapid testing and iterative processes, backed by analytical rigor.
• Willingness to travel for shoots.
• Ability to thrive with a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic and uncertain environment.
• Competitive salary and stock options.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance (fully covered).
• Unlimited paid time off each year (in addition to company-recognized holidays).
• Daily lunch and dinner provided.
• Monthly wellness stipend of $100.
• 401(k) plan with employer matching.
• Pre-tax commuter benefits.
• Bi-annual team offsite events.
• Assistance with relocation expenses.
