Creative Director, Interactive Experiences

📋 Description

• Establish the creative vision and perspective for interactive projects.

• Remain engaged throughout production to maintain the original creative intent.

• Set and uphold high standards for design, motion, and interaction quality.

• Lead and cultivate designers, creative technologists, and producers.

• Act as the primary creative liaison for clients, balancing business objectives with engaging experiences.

• Propose innovative ideas and showcase completed work to clients.

• Keep abreast of new interactive formats, hardware, and platforms, advising clients accordingly.

• Integrate AI-assisted tools into creative workflows.

• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level creatives.

• Oversee spatial and environmental design in conjunction with interactive content.

• Collaborate with production, fabrication, and technology partners to create buildable and maintainable experiences.

• Monitor trends in interactive art, entertainment design, and consumer technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in a creative role centered on interactive, digital, or experience design, with several years in a management capacity.

• A portfolio that showcases a diverse range in interaction design, visual design, and concept development.

• Direct experience collaborating with enterprise or consumer technology clients.

• Willingness to work hands-on with creative tools, such as Figma.

• A solid understanding of current hardware and software capabilities.

• Practical, hands-on experience using AI tools in the creative process.

• Proficiency in concept sketches, rapid prototyping, and finalized fabricated on-site experiences.

• Knowledge of AR, VR, projection, and sensor-driven installations.
