• Oversee the overall creative vision and quality standards for creative production across various workstreams, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and scalability.
• Convert our brand vision into distinct creative guidance for both in-house and external creative partners/resources, providing feedback on their work to ensure alignment with team requirements for future iterations and applications.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate creative team members across various disciplines.
• Enhance the team's ability to think conceptually, execute systematically, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve project and business objectives.
• Establish and refine processes that enhance speed, output, and creative effectiveness.
• Identify, assess, and manage relationships with external creative production vendors and partners.
• Collaborate with Growth, Product Marketing, Content, and other teams to ensure that creative aligns with business objectives.
• Continuously update best practices for Hometap to drive engagement and action from our creative initiatives; integrate current research, channel best practices, and third-party expertise (e.g., Google, Facebook, Media agency guidelines) into all our efforts.
• Work alongside creative project management to allocate resources and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
• Propose innovative ideas rooted in industry trends, performance insights, and cultural relevance.
• A minimum of 10 years in a creative role, including at least 5 years in leadership positions managing creative teams comprising copywriters, designers, and motion graphic artists.
• Experience in video and photography production.
• A strong collaborator who enjoys partnering with and addressing the needs of various internal stakeholders.
• Proven experience in mentoring a high-performance team; a people leader capable of identifying, recruiting, and nurturing exceptional talent to produce top-tier work.
• Proficient in sourcing, evaluating, and managing external creative agencies, contractors, and freelancers.
• Creatively knowledgeable; stays updated and ahead of the latest design, video, and other creative trends and digital innovations.
• Skilled in rigorously testing and optimizing creative outputs to enhance performance.
• Highly organized, with a background in optimizing processes to brief, prioritize, and fulfill creative requests.
• Fast-paced, results-driven, and adept at prioritizing competing demands from multiple internal stakeholders.
• Low-ego and willing to engage hands-on, yet proficient at delegating and coaching to manage team performance.
• Capable of inspiring excellent work from your team, ranging from paid social campaigns to PowerPoint templates.
• Experience with consumer finance or fintech brands is a plus!
