Director, Solutions Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Oversee a subset of pursuit team members to effectively guide the pursuit process from inception to completion.

• Formulate the overall strategy for pursuit responses and establish how to address client needs.

• Mentor and provide guidance to a select group of Solution Design team members on modeling and design methodologies.

• Assist in the bid submission process by reviewing RFP documents, comprehending objectives, and crafting questions to address gaps.

• Direct consulting projects that involve identifying customer pain points and developing as well as presenting effective solutions.

• Coach the Solution Design team to proficiently lead cross-functional teams in creating tailored supply chain solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.

• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the Transportation industry (including Truckload, Multi-stop TL, LTL, Intermodal, Bulk, Rail, or Parcel services) is required.

• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the Warehousing and/or Manufacturing industry (such as Industrial Engineering, Warehouse Operations, or Operations) is required.
