This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Perform daily inspections at job sites to identify possible hazards and ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the creation and delivery of safety training programs for construction personnel.
• Foster a safety-oriented culture by actively participating in discussions with employees about safe work practices.
• Record and report safety observations, incidents, and near misses, and follow up on corrective actions taken.
• Collaborate closely with the safety management team to revise safety protocols and processes as necessary.
• Attend safety meetings and contribute valuable insights to enhance safety performance.
• Aid in the execution of job safety analyses (JSAs) and ensure they are consistently maintained and adhered to.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in a related field is advantageous.
• 1-3 years of experience in a safety-related position within the construction or power delivery sector.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and general safety practices in construction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with craft personnel.
• Capability to identify hazards and offer practical solutions to enhance workplace safety.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred; must be obtained within 60 days of hire if not already certified.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites as required.
