This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Puerto Rico.
• Contact courts regarding individual orders and general updates on court statuses, addressing inquiries and resolving issues linked to existing orders.
• Communicate with court personnel, attorneys, and other clients in a precise and professional manner through remote voice calls and emails, maintaining a positive service attitude.
• Utilize Skye (our in-house application) to process documents, input informative updates/notes, and perform various data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.
• Handle a steady flow of incoming and outgoing phone calls to assist courts and customers with their inquiries, while also managing calls received from courts and customers.
• Convey pertinent and updated information from courts to our process servers and customers as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to identify root causes and inefficiencies in processes as documents move to and from court.
• Navigate and comprehend court dockets to understand how case documents and statuses are communicated, as well as download documents directly and import them into the internal application as required.
• Carry out other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Legal experience is preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer support, call-center, or retail experience in a customer-facing, service-oriented role is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working and interacting effectively in a remote environment, utilizing programs like Teams/Zoom for outbound calls, Teams for chats, and Outlook for emails.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite applications such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word, along with other tools like online fax services.
• Experience with document manipulation (PDFs).
• Ability to accurately perform repetitive data-entry tasks.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
