This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Develop course materials and resources, which include lectures, presentations, assignments, learning activities, assessments, and other specified components.
• Collaborate closely with the program director to guarantee that all course materials adhere to the program's standards for quality and rigor.
• Partner with instructional design staff to ensure that all course materials align with best practices and are compatible with the UWS learning management system (LMS).
• Work alongside the program director to ensure that all course materials and assessments are in alignment with course student learning outcomes, program learning outcomes, and the accreditation standards relevant to the course.
• Identify external resources for assigned readings/viewings, supporting materials, and optional exploration opportunities.
• Contribute content for the program’s culminating assessments.
• Oversee the successful delivery of the course.
• Provide essential course documents by specified deadlines.
• Stay informed about research and clinical practice advancements in areas pertinent to the course content.
• Degree from a US-accredited physical therapy program.
• Oregon OT License effective by the start date (if teaching the course).
• Official transcripts from previous institutions within 30 days of hire.
• Previous teaching experience in either a clinical or academic environment.
• Documentation of PT experience in the course-related content area.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in general computing tasks.
• Experience with one or more of the following systems: Canvas, Panopto, Zoom.
