This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.
• Providing executive leadership for the Kenya office, which includes managing staff, budgets, systems, and daily operations.
• Establishing and enhancing policies, procedures, and internal controls to promote scalability and operational excellence.
• Overseeing the recruitment process, onboarding, performance management, and professional development of team members.
• Managing financial performance by focusing on budgeting, expense optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Assessing and enhancing operational processes and financial results.
• Preparing reports and strategic updates for the executive leadership team.
• Identifying and addressing operational, personnel, client service, and regulatory challenges.
• Documenting and institutionalizing operational knowledge and best practices.
• Providing spiritual leadership in the office through prayer, biblical teachings, and personal example.
• Regularly praying with the team and personally for the clients and ministries supported by TrustBridge.
• Exhibiting consistent personal, spiritual, and professional maturity while integrating biblical principles into leadership and daily conduct.
• MBA or equivalent advanced business education is preferred.
• Proven executive-level experience in managing multi-functional teams.
• Experience with both for-profit and nonprofit governmental filings is preferred.
• Familiarity with charitable organizations, family foundations, and matters pertaining to high-net-worth individuals is preferred.
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and spreadsheet applications, including advanced functions like pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in finance, accounting, operations, or management are advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience as a General Manager, Country Manager, or a similar executive role with comprehensive operational responsibility.
• Strong understanding of essential business functions, such as management, finance, and human resources.
• Proven track record in planning, budgeting, and financial oversight.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in diagnosing operational and financial issues.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, especially in financial and operational matters.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to operate independently with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated initiative and the ability to quickly master new technical or regulatory areas.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a global team structure.
• Commitment to integrity, strong moral character, and alignment with biblical values.
• A continuous learner mindset with a dedication to ongoing professional growth.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining sound judgment and professionalism.
• Availability to address urgent matters outside of standard working hours when necessary.
• Capacity to work extended hours as needed during peak periods or critical operational moments.
• Role is primarily computer-based and requires sustained periods of focused analytical and operational work.
• Work schedule is expected to substantially overlap with European and U.S. Eastern Time zones, typically from approximately 1300 to 2200 local time.
