Country Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement localized business strategies to enhance market presence in Thailand.

• Oversee all operational functions, including coordinating customer support, marketing efforts, and community involvement.

• Propel user acquisition, brand recognition, and market penetration through tailored marketing campaigns and events.

• Forge strategic alliances with local institutions, media platforms, and essential stakeholders within the crypto and fintech sectors.

• Ensure adherence to applicable local regulations by collaborating closely with legal and compliance teams.

• Track and evaluate market trends, competitive insights, and customer feedback to guide strategic decisions.

• Serve as the regional spokesperson and brand ambassador for the company in Thailand and surrounding markets.

• Work collaboratively across departments with global teams (product, engineering, compliance, etc.) to synchronize local initiatives with global objectives.

• Recruit, supervise, and mentor a high-achieving local team as operations expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are advantageous.

• At least 5–7 years of experience in business development, marketing, or operations; experience in crypto, fintech, or fast-growing tech firms is highly preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of Thailand’s financial, tech, or crypto landscape; knowledge of Southeast Asian markets is a plus.

• Familiarity with local regulatory frameworks concerning cryptocurrency or digital finance products.

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in additional local or regional languages is an asset.

• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities.

• Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously in a remote setting and manage international collaboration.

• Results-oriented, proactive, and capable of thriving in fast-paced environments.
