Country Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the market entry strategy, which includes a comprehensive business plan addressing regulatory setup, partnerships, distribution, and growth strategy.

• Take an active role in obtaining the essential regulatory licenses and approvals necessary for functioning in the Taiwan insurance market.

• Collaborate closely with both internal and external legal and compliance teams to guarantee complete adherence to local regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Foster relationships with insurers, underwriting partners, and ecosystem stakeholders within the Taiwan market.

• Negotiate commercial partnerships, product distribution agreements, and integration arrangements.

• Create a robust product lineup from insurer partners, ensuring a consistently competitive offering within the market.

• Lead the platform launch by working in tandem with product and engineering teams to develop features, integrations, and customer journeys.

• Propel rapid product iteration and execution to guarantee a strong product-market fit.

• Establish high-performance operational processes, cadence, and reporting structures to achieve impressive growth metrics.

• Represent the group in interactions with insurers, regulators, partners, media, and key stakeholders.

• Build a high-performing team that embodies a strong ownership culture and execution-focused mindset.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in insurance, fintech, digital platforms, or high-growth technology sectors.

• Highly analytical, execution-oriented, and adept at navigating fast-paced, adaptive, high-intensity environments.

• Proven track record in managing commercial performance, driving revenue growth, and developing partnerships.

• Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with the Taiwan insurance market, regulatory environment, and distribution landscape is advantageous.
