Counsel, Site and Vendor Contracts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Provide legal assistance and guidance for Fortrea's vendor and clinical site partnerships

• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts on behalf of the company

• Collaborate with departmental personnel to support procurement and operational activities

• Offer counsel on disputes and performance-related issues

• Lead or assist in dispute resolution and claims management processes

• Suggest enhancements and execute systems for processing requests

• Advocate for company-wide risk management initiatives

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree or its equivalent

• Active membership in the bar of any state and eligibility to practice law as an in-house attorney in North Carolina

• Exceptional skills in contract drafting and negotiation

• Over 3 years of experience with a distinguished law firm or as an in-house counsel

• In-depth understanding of general corporate business practices

• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong management skills with the capability to train and develop both legal and non-legal staff
