• Employ a pre-existing parametric estimating tool to produce parametric estimates that meet AACE estimate class criteria for substation and utilities transmission initiatives based on the conceptual scope of work.
• Use available estimating templates to create assembly-level cost estimates derived from detailed scopes of work and 30-50% engineering designs.
• Facilitate the identification of necessary updates to the parametric estimating tool to present data in a more user-friendly format for future project scheduling and cost management.
• Leverage estimates versus actual cost comparisons from past projects to refresh and enhance cost data within the parametric estimating tool.
• Revise existing cost data in the parametric estimating tool to aid in structuring the enterprise estimating system and collaborate with developers for its implementation.
• Enhance the coordination of estimates to prevent duplication, improve accountability, and eliminate overlaps in estimate scope.
• Train estimators on updated tools, particularly for contracted estimators, and assist in formulating standard work instructions to standardize project scoping and estimating practices.
