Cost Engineer, Infrastructure & Capital Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and cost plans, utilizing benchmarking data for evaluation.

• You will develop value engineering and life cycle costing alternatives to enhance project efficiency.

• You will identify potential risks and assist in maintaining the project's Risk Register.

• You will contribute to pre-contract process meetings by providing cost-related insights.

• You will create and oversee cost control reports to monitor financial performance.

• You will participate in client meetings alongside senior colleagues, documenting key discussion points and actions.

• You will engage in design team meetings, evaluate cost implications, and implement agreed-upon outcomes.

• You will aid in developing standardized project templates for uniform documentation.

• You will prepare and manage change order logs, invoice logs, and comprehensive cost reports.

• You will supervise measurements and pricing research for development appraisals and qualification reviews.

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.

• At least 1 year of relevant cost management experience.

• Proficient in utilizing advanced functions in CostX for generating estimates, bills, and more.
