Corporate Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver specialized legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues.

• Create, assess, and negotiate intricate commercial contracts and agreements.

• Oversee mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence processes and transaction documentation.

• Provide guidance on intellectual property rights and strategies for protection.

• Ensure adherence to Indian corporate laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with internal teams to minimize legal risks and resolve conflicts.

• Keep abreast of developments in corporate law and make necessary updates to company policies.

• Represent the organization in legal proceedings and negotiations as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution.

• Active license to practice law in India and affiliation with the Bar Council of India.

• At least 5-7 years of experience in corporate law, emphasizing mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and compliance.

• Profound knowledge of Indian corporate laws and regulations.

• Expertise in corporate law, securities law, intellectual property law, and employment law.

• Exceptional legal research and writing capabilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.

• Proficient in drafting and reviewing contracts.

• Comprehensive understanding of corporate governance principles.

• Experience with legal software and databases.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic corporate environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies.

• Meticulous attention to detail and capability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
