Corporate FP&A Analyst – Business Partnering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the FP&A team and leaders within the G&A department by providing support for functional forecasts, budgets, and monthly updates.

• Aid in the creation of forecast summaries and KPI reports for senior management.

• Help business partners comprehend budget performance, variance drivers, risks, and potential opportunities.

• Support planning for department-level headcount and operating expenses.

• Facilitate financially informed decision-making that aligns with corporate objectives.

• Contribute to the annual planning process, monthly forecasting cycles, and provide support during closing activities.

• Work in collaboration with the broader FP&A team to enhance tools, procedures, and financial transparency.

• Promote the adoption and usage of planning tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning.

• Offer business-partner support to Slate's G&A functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in FP&A or finance business partnering roles.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Strong comprehension of G&A functions and the role of finance in operational decision-making.

• Experience in supporting department-level forecasting, budgeting, and headcount planning.

• Capability to convert financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders who do not specialize in finance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proven ability to establish trusted relationships with business partners.

• Familiarity with planning tools, with exposure to Workday Adaptive Planning being an advantage.

• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.

• Strong understanding of forecasting workflows.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
