This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +22 more states.
• Identify, assess, and promote strategic alliances, vendor partnerships, and new business prospects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for new alliance and vendor opportunities throughout CSAA.
• Oversee initiatives from initial exploration to executive recommendations.
• Foster relationships with potential organizations, professional associations, and external stakeholders.
• Conduct market analysis, competitive assessments, and opportunity evaluations.
• Create financial analyses and strategic business cases to support executive decision-making.
• Coordinate cross-departmental assessments of new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product Strategy & Development, Legal, Claims, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Operations, and other departments.
• Assist with due diligence, contract negotiations, implementation planning, governance activities, and securing executive approvals.
• Ensure transparency within the strategic opportunity pipeline and enhance governance and evaluation processes.
• Manage strategic company initiatives across business units, overseeing dependencies and tracking deliverables.
• Formulate project plans, executive communications, decision materials, and recommendations.
• Organize intricate initiatives and drive execution across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Monitor decisions, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Prepare presentations, business cases, briefing documents, and executive recommendations.
• Deliver recommendations, progress reports, and insights to leadership.
• Build relationships across business units and represent CSAA with prospective organizations, vendors, and external contacts.
• Facilitate discussions, document decisions, communicate subsequent steps, and sustain execution momentum.
• Share expertise, identify process improvements, and enhance organizational capabilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, program management, corporate strategy, product strategy, sales, consulting, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Management, Economics, Insurance, or a similar discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience within the Property & Casualty insurance sector.
• Proven success in identifying, developing, evaluating, and advancing strategic partnerships or complex business opportunities.
• A Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is advantageous.
• Professional certifications related to project/program management, business analysis, insurance, or strategic management are beneficial.
• Strong business acumen.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Capacity to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, including for divisional/team meetings and other in-person engagements.
• Must possess authorization to work indefinitely in the United States.
