This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Manage the post-investment relationships for a diverse portfolio of strategic majority investments across various sectors and regions.
• Identify and implement commercial partnerships and strategic synergies between portfolio companies and Tether's business units.
• Facilitate revenue growth, customer acquisition, product integrations, distribution agreements, infrastructure collaborations, regulatory partnerships, and ecosystem development.
• Advise founders and executive teams on maximizing Tether's network, resources, and global presence.
• Create value-creation frameworks and assess the impact of the portfolio.
• Coordinate introductions among Tether businesses, executives, customers, partners, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Assist in strategic planning, organizational development, fundraising, market expansion, and major commercial initiatives.
• Analyze partnerships, acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
• Formulate strategic theses on emerging markets, competition, and industry trends.
• Aid in planning and executing integration processes.
• Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to Tether's leadership.
• Represent Tether in roles such as board director, board observer, or shareholder representative.
• Offer governance oversight and review portfolio performance, budgets, forecasts, fundraising plans, and strategic decisions.
• Support companies in achieving growth milestones, financing, acquisitions, and scaling their organizations.
• Lead portfolio reviews, board preparations, KPI tracking, and strategic reporting.
• Assist in follow-on investment decisions, capital allocation strategies, and liquidity planning.
• Develop frameworks for portfolio management, governance processes, and scalable reporting systems.
• Aid in due diligence, strategic-fit assessments, synergy analysis, post-close planning, transaction structuring, negotiation, and preparing Investment Committee materials.
• 7–15 years of experience in corporate development, private equity, growth equity, strategic investing, management consulting, operating leadership, or value creation roles.
• Proven experience working directly with executive teams, boards, and founders of high-growth companies.
• A strong record of driving commercial partnerships, strategic initiatives, and measurable business results.
• Experience managing portfolio companies, subsidiaries, business units, or strategic investments.
• Deep understanding of corporate governance, board processes, and shareholder oversight.
• Excellent relationship-building and influence skills with senior executives.
• Experience assessing business models, growth strategies, competitive positioning, and operational performance.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Preferred experience in fintech, financial infrastructure, payments, digital assets, banking, software, AI, or related technology sectors.
• Prior experience as a board director or board observer is preferred.
• Experience in supporting transactions, strategic partnerships, integrations, or corporate development initiatives is preferred.
• Background in venture capital, growth equity, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or operating leadership is preferred.
• Existing relationships with founders, investors, financial institutions, regulators, and strategic partners are preferred.
• Proficient English communication skills are essential.
