This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Assist in the implementation of corporate development strategies by assessing potential acquisitions, partnerships, and investment prospects.
• Analyze market trends, industry changes, and competitive landscapes while conducting financial and strategic evaluations to determine strategic alignment, risks, and value generation possibilities.
• Oversee and coordinate assigned due diligence workstreams in collaboration with cross-functional partners, monitor progress, and highlight key risks, concerns, and decision-making points.
• Collaborate closely with external advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure due diligence activities remain on schedule, escalate issues, and offer recommendations to corporate development leadership to facilitate transaction structuring, negotiation, signing, and closure.
• Create analyses, presentations, and communication documents to aid internal discussions and support decision-making concerning corporate development strategies.
• Sustain and improve corporate development tools, templates, and processes to ensure consistent and efficient execution of deals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in investment banking, investor relations, private equity, corporate development, corporate finance, actuarial, consulting, or similar fields.
• Strong financial insight, with the capability to comprehend and analyze financial statements, valuation assessments, and crucial deal economics within the context of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the skill to integrate financial, legal, operational, and market data to assess strategic options, identify risks, and propose recommendations for senior management.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and see projects through to completion.
