This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and assess new strategic acquisition and investment prospects.
• Contribute to the management of the deal process, coordinating with legal, accounting, tax, and third-party due diligence advisors.
• Execute commercial, financial, and operational due diligence workstreams alongside internal stakeholders and external advisors.
• Assist in detailed financial modeling, valuation, and other pertinent diligence analyses.
• Facilitate diligence discussions with external advisors and target management teams, working in collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Prepare materials for the Board and executive levels, including transaction memos (e.g., merits and considerations).
• Oversee data rooms, diligence trackers, and timelines for the transaction process.
• Conduct competitive analyses of current and adjacent markets, along with various strategic analyses such as whitespace/TAM analyses, buy vs. build considerations, and scenario analyses.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of Cotiviti’s business units and near-adjacent markets.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4+ years of overall experience, including a background in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
• Proven experience in leading or supporting M&A transactions from due diligence to closing.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation, and analysis (e.g., leveraged buyouts, accretion/dilution analysis, various price analyses, comparable company analysis, discounted cash flow, revenue growth opportunity analyses).
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to synthesize data and concepts for executive-level communications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
